Hamstring tendon autograft anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction rehabilitation program

Tips: postoperative rehabilitation program are not any universal, all require individual design. This program is for professionals to learn from, reference and exchange of learning. Patient, please consult your surgeon and rehabilitation doctor, not to copy the license to practice! < br> Phase One: 4w postoperative rehabilitation goals within the

u protect the graft, in addition to training outside the limb brace fixed
u control the inflammation and edema
u relieve knee pain
u joint fully extended
u to protect the graft fixation, knees <90.
u back to normal in a certain level of gait rehabilitation program
2
pressure cold therapy, Tens, NMES, CPM
2 Functional Training: 1w bent leg supporting the initiative; 1w active flexion after the leg, delayed strength exercises to 12w; heel slide backwards (distraction; 1w mild hamstring during stretch; SLR (each position, and with a brace); degree of isometric quadriceps 60/90
2 load: 0 ~ 1w, holding crutches suffering limb PWB; 1 ~ 4 周, PWB to FWB
2 Advanced brace: 0 ~ 1w, activities and sleep brace locked in full extension position; 1 ~ 3w, when the quadriceps muscle is insufficient brace locked in 90.; 3 ~ 4w, when patients have good quadriceps control and normal walking, discarded the brace
Phase II: After 4w ~ 12w
into the phase II assessment Standard:
full knee extension / had good quadriceps extensor
, SLR no extensor lag
knees to 90 degrees
the virtual elimination of edema, inflammation
gait Rehabilitation of basic objective of the normal

u keep climbing the stairs to maintain normal gait
u full knee extension, try to increase the flexion
u protect the graft
u increase the hip, quadriceps and increased leg strength
u proprioceptive rehabilitation program
2
functional training: Continue range of motion and flexibility training; begin closed chain quadriceps exercise (squat, slightly squatting, etc.); progressive of the gluteus, hamstrings, calf muscle training; continue hamstrings, gastrocnemius, soleus muscle stretch; level training, running machine (10w ~ 12w started losing weight in running training); power bicycle training; proprioceptive training
2 a: after 4 ~ 8w, patients in vulnerable circumstances under brace (for example: crowded, roads are not smooth)
2 4w, when the reconstruction of the normal gait of patients and can directly After raising and no extensor leg when in walking, the discarded crutches or brace
Phase Three: 12w ~ 18/20w
after entering stage three assessment criteria:
patellofemoral not
knee pain at least 120.
sufficient strength and proprioception training to start running
the elimination of edema / inflammation
rehabilitation goals
u all joint activities to improve lower limb muscle strength
u , endurance, proprioception
u avoid graft overload
u progressive hamstring resistance training
u protect the patellofemoral joint
u normal running gait
u Isokinetic assessment of the contralateral lower limb muscle strength is close to the 70%
rehabilitation program
2 to activity exercises, flexibility exercises
2 open chain knee extension isokinetic training
training
2 2 16w started running under full weight-bearing exercise
2 swimming
2 at 14 ~ 16w proposed isokinetic
2 hips, quadriceps, hamstring, calf strengthening exercises
2 endurance, proprioceptive training
Phase IV: After the 4.5/5m ~ 6/7m
evaluation criteria into four stages:
no serious edema, inflammation
full range of joint pain patellofemoral joint activity
intact limb
isokinetic leg strength of the 70%
healthy enough strength and proprioception, agility training began running
normal gait
rehabilitation goals
u bilateral symmetry of the basic and sports leg agility exercises
u jump, triple jump up to the healthy side of 85%
u isokinetic quadriceps and hamstring strength, at least the 85%
contralateral
2 rehabilitation programs continue to flexibility and strength exercises
2 goals for the patient's movement, began to appropriate Spring Training
2 Agility training: the side walk; cross walk; 8 characters run; shuttle run; one leg and both legs jumping; acceleration / deceleration / jump; ladder exercises
2 based on the patient needs to continue long distance running
2 for patients Select the appropriate special sports practice
